Off-Campus Housing

Individuals admitted to the Partial Hospitalization Program may access sober housing while in treatment at one of our 13 Off-Campus Housing (OCH) locations. Please note: The OCH is not a treatment facility, but allows men and women to live in a sober group home where they can practice recovery skills learned at program, participate in daily AA/NA meetings, get a sponsor and make appropriate discharge arrangements.

What to Bring to OCH

  • Toiletries: comb, brush, deodorant, soap, shampoo, shaving items, toothbrush and toothpaste. (Toiletries are also available from House staff upon request.)
  • Pre-Paid Telephone Calling Card
  • Five to seven changes of comfortable clothing packed in plastic bags ONLY (2 bag maximum, please)
  • Towels
  • If you smoke cigarettes, you may bring them to the House
  • Writing Utensils
  • Stamps & Envelopes

Prohibited items in OCH

  • Electronics, such as cell phones, laptops, cameras, DVD players, iPods, recording devices of any kind
  • Luggage (For health and safety reasons, all items must be brought in plastic bags.)
  • Cars (Personal vehicles are not permitted at the House.)
  • Jewelry, excessive amounts of money or other valuables
  • Sheets, blankets, pillows
  • Laundry detergent
  • Illicit or “street” drugs, alcohol
  • Clothing that depicts: alcohol, drugs, sex, and/or violence
  • Weapons of any kind (knives, guns, chains, razors, scissors, etc.)
  • Food (Food is provided by OCH.)
