Services

Established in 1957, Stonington Institute provides inpatient, residential, partial hospital and outpatient behavioral health services to adults and adolescents.

Licensure & Accreditation

The Institute’s behavioral health programs are licensed by the Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) as a Free-Standing Facility for the Care or Treatment of Substance Abusive or Dependent  Persons (License No. 298) and a Mental Health Day Treatment Facility (License No. 0000-0040).

The Institute’s adolescent IRTC Program is licensed by the Connecticut Department of Children and Families (DCF) as a Residential Treatment Center (License No. CCF / RT-98).

The Institute is accredited by The Joint Commission and is a TRICARE-certified provider of SUDRF services.
