Clinical Program

The Intensive Residential Treatment Center program is a 10-bed residential treatment program for adolescent boys with developmental disabilities and a co-occurring behavioral diagnosis. The program is geared to 12-18 year-old boys with moderate to mild developmental disabilities (IQ 50-70) and mental health/substance abuse issues. The program focuses on independent living skills and appropriate educational goals. A certified school program is provided on campus by LEARN. Comprehensive nursing, medical, psychiatric, clinical, behavioral and educational assessments are completed on all clients upon admission. This information is utilized in the development of an individualized treatment plan that delineates treatment goals and objectives.

Admission Criteria

  • Males ages 12 through 18
  • Co-occurring developmental disabilities and mental illness or behavioral problems
  • Ambulatory (must be able to handle stairs independently)
  • IQ above 50
